Charles Laine
This is my great-grandfather, Charles, who worked as a miner all of his life. He moved from Finland to the USA in 1903 and then came to Canada in 1912 when he moved from Salt Lake, UT USA to Cobalt, ON Canada to find work in the mining boom there. I have three mysteries yet to solve related to him:
- Why did he and his wife both die in the same year?
- Copy of his marriage record from Salt Lake Marriage
- Why did one of his twin children die at age 11?
I don’t consider any of these to be road blocks, they are just the outstanding questions I can’t wait to find the anwers to. Every time I answer a question it seems to create new questions. This is the fun of doing family research for me. I love to bring all the puzzle pieces together to learn the stories of who these people were.
